ah. so much has happened between now and then. where shall i begin?

(note: i must be in a very poetic mood today. court sorta rhymes with blog and then rhymes with begin. who knows, maybe i could be the next big literary thing? incidentally, today i stumbled upon a piece of interesting trivia. Robert Burns, famous Scottish poet, was born on the same day i was. very telling indeed)

December saw a great increase in the number of times spent stoning at ginky's house. December was the month where each of my days were spent similarly.

how i spent my december days
1) wake up at 11. is there training? if yes, go to 2. if no, go to 3
2) this is how i spent every tuesday and thursday. wake up, stone till 3, go for training, come back, say hi to computer and get started
3) were any prior arrangements to hang out together made last night or earlier? if yes, go to 4. if no go to 5.
4) Do i feel lazy? if yes go to 5. if no go to 6.
5) stay-at-home all day long!
6) choose ur pick. ginky's house, ginky's house or ginky's house?

easily the most exciting thing i did during December was the time my friends and I went to the airport to spend christmas eve. thanks to my fren's random suggestion, being spastic guys, who like to shout NOW and who generally agree to anything spastic and rejecting anything sensible, we really made our way there.

and after the airport, they tried to break my record takedowns. sorry kids, the record-holder is still me. not bad la, yongfats, u reached 3/4 my score.

and then.. the day 2nd Jan came after all. my timetable.. is way screwed up. i have two days that are very slack, mon thanks to protected time and thurs thanks to the fact that i have only 4 periods, 1 of which is PE. and guess what is the bomb? the rest of our days are packed. friday... 5 straight academic periods, 1 break and then bio pract? yucks.

nevertheless, im happy to see all the people i didnt see in the holidays.

im tired! going to sleep now cya.

woo im back on the court! here's hoping the other guys with injuries get back on the court asap too!

ahh the familiar sensation of being tired, sweating like mad, running around on the court, making some baskets (and missing some horribly easy baskets too, yuck!). man i need to work on my shooting mentality, i spent the whole time working on my shooting and i still dun consciously look for my shot. oh man, my first training back was bad though. clumsy, uncoordinated, played like a madman, jumped around, did lots of stupid stuff. ahhh still cant defensive shuffle properly though. the pressure on the right foot's lubbing me.

i must be blessed! seeing the ginky two times in a week is fun! we went over to the ginky's house, where, contrary to what HE says, i own like mad in super smash bros melee! =) bwahahaha. bad thing is i cant smash properly. i whole day do a dash attack when i wanna do a smash attack. but ah well, playing with nigel-bashing people like the ginky is fun! u just sandwich nigel, charge up an attack if u have a chargeable attack (i used roy ) and have faith that linky will hit nigel over to u! hahaha! too bad linky cooked his terrorist cat, if not we could've had fun with it ahha.

one night i tried to pet a stray cat! i managed to make it follow me up from the ground floor to the 3rd storey where i could pet it without attracting weird stares. but when i sat down on the stairs to pet it, the cat thought my hand was food and tried to BITE ME! luckily, i managed to pull my hand out of danger in the nick of time. scary man! i could see the cat's long thin sharp canines! they look even more impressive than a dog's teeth.

it's an old cliche but yea, how many times do u take for granted things that ur parents do for u? like my recent leg sprain. my mum had to come and fetch me after a busy day of work. also, she had to send me to the chinese doctor, make sure i was comfortable around the house, etc. the sad thing is that i was thankful for all these things she did for me.. but i never told her. when i was complaining to my mother about the pain of the treatment (and was kinda accusing her because it was her idea), she told me that i was so ungrateful. and then i was thinking.. there has never been a time when i've felt even the slightest bit ungrateful. after that.. she elaborated and i realized that i nvr even uttered a single word of thanks to her. how ungrateful i must've seemed indeed.

why were the words "thank u", which normally flow freely from me, not said to more-than-deserving ppl? although i didnt exactly take them for granted, i seemed to not appreciate their efforts. so dudes. rmb to thank ur parents ah! a word of thanks goes a long way =)

argh, injured my right leg yesterday playing basketball. it's damn weird, like i must injure both legs seriously in a year before i happy. hai....

i've got to stop this nonsense man. it's not good getting injured pre-season. like now, this injury has thrown a wrench into my running plans.

also... i know i disappointed my coach. he told me how my injury pre-season this year hurt the team greatly and now i've injured myself again. damn whole day never learn.

mm.. i dunno why i whole day get injured. everyone says it's because im too chiong when i play bball, but actually i dun think that's the case because i never really play seriously. so in fact, i think it's because i play like a retard, doing stuff that i normally wouldnt do in a real match that gets me injured. OKAY. from now on, that stops.

maybe i should just stop playing friendly basketball pre-season. mm.

shucks, the swell is really damn imba. im hoping it's just a sprain and nothing else more serious. should be going to take an x-ray to confirm.

ahhhh!!! PROMOS ARE DRAWING NEARERRRRR! 1 week away! my friend asked me whether i felt pressured, because when she saw me, i was with my friends (the YONGFOUNTAIN OF HAPPINESS =) and DUMB CHIA and TEH RETARD), who were studying. then i was playing psp and distracting them HAHA. sorry! to speak the truth, i dun feel pressured in the slightest bit at all. the only pressure comes from my mother and father, who are more worried about my exam than i am. just today, because i had a psp gaming marathon from morning till 6, they burst in my room and DEMANDED that i study, if not... gg.  mm... so now im on the com.. and dunno what to do so i'm here!

ah well. how can u study properly if u dun have a study plan? =)

my study plan is to dao history until the day before, focus on maths a lot, and then study econs and bio in between, with econs taking precedence over bio simply because it's more interesting. that was my study plan for the CTs, and it failed miserably because in addition to daoing history, i also daoed bio. and.. although i studied the hardest for maths, i only put in a total of 2 nights effort. mm. econs was a sunday thing. haha, the vivid memories of my first CTs in rj!

1) if u chaps still remember, we had CTs on mon, tues wed and fri. econs mon, maths tues, hist (and chem) wed, and bio fri. i relaxed too much after history and as a result did not feel like studying bio and therefore didnt study for it.

3) i studied hardest for maths - and it was my lowest grade. conversely, i didnt study for history - and it was my highest grade.
